Cool that you know the originator of that famous well-behaved women quote. Amazing how that quote took off.

There&#039;s a swirl of stuff in my head that this post brings up, that has to do with societal expectations for women (about being demure and well-behaved and polite and irrelevant) and societal labels for women when they buck expectations. And why sometimes being subversive works for us and other times against us. Just a jumble of words right now, but I&#039;m sitting with it.</description>
