Respect…such a valuable lesson.
We have delighted in the lessons our children have learned by watching the creatures that claim our backyard as their home.  Loving commitment from the swans, persevering and sometimes brutal survival from the snapping turtles.  And yes, the reminder to peacefully and respectfully keep a healthy distance from all of them as they pass by the river that runs behind our house.

I am glad you have the sanctuary to take time to stop and feel.
Something we all need.
